Hypnosis is a focused state of awareness. We go in and out of hypnosis all day- while we are driving, listening to music, watching TV, etc… You can literally see how it works by merely paying attention to when it feels like you’re in a trance state throughout the day. You are completely aware, but somehow you zoned out and went into the subconscious part of your mind where all of you memories, behaviors, and association are stored. It’s crazy to think that we can go in and out of different parts of our mind and not even be aware of it. Wouldn’t it be nice to understand who you are, why you behave in a certain way, why you do some of the things you do? These are only some of the reasons I became a Hypnotherapist. I BELIEVE strongly in the power of the subconscious mind. Anything we have learned, we can unlearn.
